FarmReady© Assistance available for Training Courses *
All our courses (and trainers) are registered with the Federal Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries FarmReady Programme so that training Reimbursement Costs of up to $1500 per financial year are available for primary producers, their families and managers provided that they have a valid ABN and meet the conditions outlined on the FarmReady Website.
Course participants may seek reimbursement for more than one Course per financial year but total reimbursement grant will not exceed $1500 in any financial year.
Additional associated reasonable costs (not exceeding $500 per financial year) may be claimed for travel, accommodation, meals and child care. Participants must pay for courses and then submit invoices and receipts for all items to claim grant reimbursement.
From 1 July 2011, the Program Guidelines have been amended to include a new Key Learning Area for agritourism and food tourism.
The guidelines have also been amended to include a co-contribution requirement for primary producers to invest 35 per cent towards their training costs with FarmReady reimbursing the remaining 65 per cent up to a maximum of $1500 per person per financial year. Indigenous land managers are exempt from a co-contribution requirement.
